Node.js

Node.js runs the API behind the website and the app: logins, bookings, payments, and background jobs. On a NodeLyte project it sits next to Next.js (the pages people see) and MongoDB (where data is stored). We treat logging, auth, and deploys as part of the work — not extras after the endpoints exist.

Where we use it

  • SaaS backends
  • Marketplace APIs
  • Realtime companions to Laravel

What we do with it

  • REST and GraphQL APIs with validation and auth
  • Workers, queues, and scheduled jobs
  • TypeScript services with shared types to the UI
  • Observability: logs, errors, and health checks
